The human body is composed of (in part) millions and millions of crystals. The bones are made of a combination of collagen, which is protein in the form of a double helix intertwined around itself that forms the framework for a type of calcium phosphate crystal called "apatite" crystals. This concept is brought out very thoroughly and explored deeply by Robert O. Backer in his book, The Body Electric. Apatite crystals exist throughout the body, the skull, and teeth.
As with all crystals, they have a certain resonation potential. Playing the Crystal Bowls bring about a resonation, a harmonization, and an integration process that goes between the internal and external vibration. The resonance vibrates the body cavities affecting the crystalline structure of our bones. The vibration also has a great effect of the spine diffusing along the nerve pathways to the organs, tissues, cells, blood circulation, metabolism, endocrine system. It cleanses the auric field and balances the hemispheres of the brain. It creates alignment in our Higher Self.
The Crystal Bowls are very powerful and sacred. Each bowl has its own note, its own color and corresponds to each Chakra. When the bowls are played they vibrate to the pitch of the body's own pitch. When an individual connects with his/her own pitch and that of the crystal bowls, a feeling of harmony and balance is encountered. Some individuals have reported to "having the best nights sleep of their life after hearing the bowls played."
Aside from having an inter-connection, there is also an exterior connection. The sound vibrates and ripples through your home, surroundings, the environment, the receiver and the giver, Mother Earth and on out into the Universe. Even though we do not continue hearing the sound with our ear, the sound continues vibrating through the cosmos for eternity.
As we play the bowls to people for healing, we are certain that this musical vibration is not only helping those individuals who are being touched by the Crystal Bowls, but also the musical resonance from the sound and the vibration of the bowls are healing the soul of Mother Earth.
Manufacturing Process:
"The substance used for the bowls is a kind of sand found in several places in the world, called "silica sand", that is pure quartz in nature. It is very pure, the same sand that is used in making fibre optic glass. (Fibre optic glass must be pure to two parts per billion or else it interrupts the electrical signal, which is actually a light signal). The sand is dropped in to a centrifugal force spinning mold, and at the proper instant, in the center of that mold, there is an electric arc torch that is ignited to several thousand degrees centigrade. It integrates the individual particles of sand." The result is an integrated structure of the purest resonance, capable of sending out audible sound tested up to half a kilometre from the source.

Heart Chakra Quartz Crystal Singing Bowl – Note ‘F’
To Balance the Heart Chakra
The chakra system is the main energy system of the body, and our chakras are like the organs of our spiritual body, much like our physical body has organs that are vital to our health and physical well-being. It is important to keep our chakras healthy, balanced and flowing, and we do this by using tools such as quartz crystal singing bowls, which have special properties of healing and regeneration. The heart chakra is an important chakra in it’s own right and it is essential that we keep it flowing freely, especially when it comes to improving the areas of love and relationships in our lives.
What Is the Heart Chakra?
The heart chakra is the fourth chakra in the chakra system, and is located just about where it sounds - in the center of our chest, near our heart. It governs the heart, circulatory system, blood, lungs, breasts, diaphragm and rib cage. This chakra is the center for love, and from it we learn the lessons of forgiveness, compassion, trust, generosity, and of course, unconditional love. If this important center is imbalanced, you may be overcome with feelings of self-pity, fear of getting hurt, and may have trouble releasing old emotional wounds and heartbreaks. A person with a healthy, open, and flowing heart chakra will be especially compassionate, nurturing, optimistic, and will have an easy time being loved by and loving other people.
Balancing Your Heart Chakra With Crystal Singing Bowl
The note associated with the heart chakra is F, and its color is green or pink. Balancing this chakra can be accomplished easily with your crystal singing bowl. Since crystal singing bowls are tuned to a specific note, make sure you have one tuned to the note of F, like this one. Set aside a special time and place for your meditation where you will be undisturbed for about 15 minutes. Take some deep relaxing breaths until you feel calm and centered. When you are ready, strike your singing bowl on its rim three times, and then begin playing it by running the striker around the rim. As you play, inhale deeply and direct your attention and your awareness to your heart area. Feel yourself filling up with love and compassion for yourself. To help this process along, you may repeat some affirmations to yourself.
Examples of heart chakra affirmations are:
When you feel filled up with well-being, visualise this feeling radiating outwards towards those you are close to, like friends, lovers, and family members. Imagine that they are also being surrounded and filled up with love and compassion. After visualising the people close to you, extend this love and compassion out to others that you do know, then people you don't know and outwards until you feel yourself send out love to all inhabitants of the world.
When you are finished, you may stop playing your crystal singing bowl and then strike it three times to signal the end of your heart chakra meditation.
